I have bought this and I wish
I have bought this and I wish I hadnt because it told me nothing new, it seemed like there was passion at the start of the feature.
But the more I read on it seemed the writer seemed to loose interest, We all know Phil has a set of Paiste Rude cymbals but your article doesnt mention them?
What about the 1980's solo career? or the Genesis recording sessions in the 1980's and 1990's they were not just Gretsch stuff he played....
What about his 1997 Dance Into The Light Solo tour where his Black gretsch kit is seen to be propped up by Premier 5000 series Hardware?
It appears you have spread a 10 minute conversation with Phil over 11 pages which is depressing when you could have tried harder, this is the thing that annoys me about so called professional journalism... a Depressing attempt really.
Dont get me started on the wrong photos with less than useful captions.
A good attempt at the start, but half way through the feature writer gets bored..... and someone stretches a 10 minute conversation with Phil over 11 pages.... SHOCKING to think I paid more than a £5 for this.
