how music can keep you sane

All of my life, well, at least a big part of it, I have wanted to tell you, Mr. Collins, how your music and especially the lyrics kept me sane through many years as a child of sexual, emotional and physical abuse. Words like "I can hear through these walls" and many many other gave me the sense that out there in the big world were people who actually understood loneliness, pain and the place where you wonder if you have enough strenght to make it through another day and if life is even worth surviving another day. It is. As long as you believe and love yourself. But please, don´t get all bitter on us now, leave the music world if that´s what you want, you have a great legacy, did probably more than you should have, and go enjoy yourself and life.
